6:36pm: IT'S TOO HOT!!!
i do not like living in the desert.

i added some new friends and joined cat_revolution. one of these new friends is called turtle_tom. i chose him because he seems to like cats....but what is a turtle?

it's icky and hot and i cannot rest because of that.

1:58pm: feel it in the air
oops....i need to add phantomterror, the owner of mommy's friend gemfyre....i'll go do that as soon as i post this.

i am currently looking out the window while i dictate to mommy. she keeps calling my name in her "come and let me spoil you" tone but i am too comfortable to move. sorry, mommy.

i can feel the weather changing. the quiet thing called the swamp cooler (such a strange name phrase) is on less and less and mommy even closed the window at night once this week. my winter coat is growing in. sooner or later "dad" (the big huge guy with a beard and a low voice--he scares me) will come over and fix the cooler/heater so it will be warm in here. mommy will shut all the windows and wear the blue thing she calls her fuzzy robe. and insist i sit with her while she is on here. she is smart in that she knows i am a source of body heat. how do humans manage without fur coats in the winter?

8:14pm: new friends
mommy added some new friends for me.

she is mad at me b/c i knocked her silly diet scale off the counter. who cares--its just a piece of plastic!

hmph *sits behind the fan and sulks*

10:25am: first entry
boy is mommy mad at me. i meowed at her for an hour straight when she was trying to sleep. sometimes i don't think she understands me. i wanted to show her the sparrows out the bathroom window!

humans spend too much time sleeping....i wonder if that's what she does when she "goes on vacation" and (if it is long) i get left at that stupid kennel. she says she does other stuff and there's pictures but i bet she spends all morning sleeping then does that stuff in the afternoon. hmm....perhaps i should sneak into the suitcase next time....
